Senior Staff Accountant
Join a Stable, Structured, and Detail-Oriented Team
AllView Real Estate is looking for a focused, reliable, and detail-driven Senior Accountant to maintain clean, accurate financials for two related entities and an internal brokerage department. You’ll work independently with clear expectations, owning the month-end close process, financial reporting, intercompany accounting, and oversight of bookkeeping support.
AllView is a fast-growing, full-service real estate company focusing on property management and residential and commercial sales brokerage services — with additional verticals coming soon. We’re an ambitious company based in California, with stable systems, strong leadership, and a long-term vision. This is a remote, full-time role ideal for someone who values structure, consistency, and craftsmanship in their work.
What You’ll Be Doing
• Maintain and oversee accurate books in QuickBooks Online for two related entities and the brokerage department
• Own the month-end close process, ensuring completion within 5 business days
• Review reconciliations and GL classifications prepared by bookkeeping support staff, make corrections directly in the ledger where appropriate, and post adjusting journal entries when needed
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting, including updating financial projections and preparing budget-to-actual analyses
•Oversee accounts payable processing performed by support staff and review weekly payment runs before approval
• Prepare internal monthly financial statements and KPI reports for leadership
• Manage intercompany activity between entities, including allocations and transfers
• Ensure accurate documentation and reconciliation of corporate income from AppFolio, including management fees and other ancillary revenue
• Handle light payroll and HR administration in Rippling, including entering compensation or status changes, reviewing payroll for accuracy, and helping ensure payroll runs smoothly
• Support payroll accounting, including reconciliation of payroll entries and 401(k) contribution checks
• Collaborate with our CPA on tax filings, annual reviews, and schedule preparation
• Identify inconsistencies, propose corrections, and maintain overall GL integrity
• Follow clear workflows and maintain consistent weekly progress with minimal oversight
• Report directly to the COO with an emphasis on accuracy, accountability, and proactive communication
What You’ll Need to Succeed
• 5+ years of accounting or bookkeeping experience with U.S.-based companies
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and basic intercompany accounting
• Deep experience with QuickBooks Online
• Strong Excel and Google Sheets skills
• Ability to review and correct accounting work performed by junior bookkeeping staff
• High attention to detail and a commitment to producing error-free financials
• Excellent English communication (written and verbal)
• Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and maintain a consistent weekly rhythm
• Experience in real estate accounting is a must; AppFolio experience is preferred
What You’ll Love About This Role
• Clear expectations, repeatable workflows, and stable leadership
• Work independently without micromanagement
• Long-term, full-time remote role with room for growth
• Meaningful work that supports the success of the entire company
• Compensation of $12–$16/hr USD, based on experience
• 2 weeks PTO + Paid Holidays
